God, You Are My Source

I'd read recently and shared the 23rd Psalm that was rewritten and I have decided to do my own version and share it here with you. Feel free to share it!

God, You are my Source and the Creator of All That Is. You guide me and fill me with Light and Love.

You give me direction and abundance. I lay down in fields of bounty and quench my thirst with the waters of life.

You wash away the veils of illusion so that I may see. You restore my Soul and lead me to your Heart Light.

Even though I walk through this Valley of Fear, I am not afraid. You are with me always. Your Light and Your guidance, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me, in the presence of those I feared and those who feared me. During this table of life you have prepared for me, I discover truths not known.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me in all the days of my life, for you are always near. Your Light dwells in me and I dwell in You forever.

So be it.

What You Mind Matters, Literally

If we but realized the truth in that statement and how simple it works, we’d be so much happier in our life experiences. What You Mind Matters, Literally. Whatever you think, those thoughts that flutter through your head constantly; you have to pay attention to them. Those thoughts are energy and this energy is released. Always. What are you thinking about?

Which problem are you dwelling upon? Let’s say you’re thinking about how little money you have and all the bills you’ve acquired. If you concentrate and focus upon how ‘little money you have’ these are thoughts and energy you are sending out into the universe. These are thoughts you are creating inside that will manifest outside. This is what we are doing in this physical reality. We are creating experiences, first in thought, then in words and finally manifesting it into a physical experience. What You Mind Matters, Literally.

It can be difficult to suddenly change your way of thinking. But before we can change our thinking process we have to first be aware of what thoughts are coming into our mind. Often we’re not even conscious of what we’re thinking and we’re quick on coming up with reasons, outside ourselves, of why we’re experiencing these unhappy experiences. But don’t be too hard on yourself. It is how we have been trained. It is all we knew up until this moment in time when we finally realize it doesn’t have to be the way it is. There is a way we can bring joy into our life if we but just focus upon it.

Now there’s a paradox in this focus. If we put too much focus, meaning if we hang onto this focus we are not releasing it. We are holding it too close. We have to have faith that when we focus on changes in our thinking that we then release it to the Universe. If you feel more comfortable saying you release it to God, so be it. First Source, Universal Source, Great Spirit, God, Jesus, Buddha and all the other names you can think of where our beliefs reside. They are ALL one and the same. It is this Creator that hears our thoughts and gives us what we ask. Just like the bible quote, ‘ask and ye shall receive’. That is really all we need do to have a happier more joyful life.

Now that doesn’t mean you won’t be met with challenges. If you weren’t met with challenges in life, you not only would become very bored but you wouldn’t need to be living on this Earth because you would have ascended or grown to a closer experience of who you want to become. We’re so conditioned to get distraught when we’re met with problems. I know, I go there often. But as soon as I get over that initial ‘arrgghh’ feeling I quickly realize that there are always solutions to every problem we meet in life. There is a reason we bring these problems into our experience. And until we learn the lessons behind each problem we’ll create them time and time again until we change our thinking, change our focus and bring new experiences into our life.

Psalm 23, revised

I found a gem today! I want to share it with you because it brings the 23rd Psalm from the language of the Bible into modern language. I just love this rendition of the prayer and it was sent to me via an email. I hope David (I don't know him) doesn't mind that I share it with all of you. It's certainly a prayer that will help us create and enjoy our daily abundances. I plan on writing this one out on a card, placing it on my desk, and reciting the prayer daily. I hope you feel this same attraction to it. Be wonder-filled!

The 23rd Psalm re-created by David Kelm, from the Seeds of Harmony Project:

'Co-creator, my source! I don t need a thing. I am bedded down in lush meadows, I drink from quiet pools. The care of my soul is provided for and I am guided in the right direction. Even when it appears I am going through Death Valley, I am not afraid because the source of all is with me allowing me to feel secure. I have a banquet surrounding me that is also sitting right in front of those who choose to be a victim. I am aware of the love that enfolds me and my cup brims with blessings. Peace and harmony energize me in my every experience. I appreciate now, forever and ever.'

Isn't that beautiful and inspiring?

Enjoy a wonder-filled abundant day!

Creating Goals for Living Life Daily

There are numerous law of attraction blogs online whereby the people writing them want you to do a list of goals. Although I do see the importance of this, I've always felt that was something one did when in high school. It doesn't expand out into real life, does it? Yes, it certainly does.

When we're in school we usually live very structured lives. I never felt I needed any kind of set routines because I liked to live life spontaneously without too many borders boxing me in. Now I realize that I was just hiding behind reasons for not bringing my dreams into my life, my reality. Instead I was giving myself and everyone else excuses as to why my life wasn't turning out like I'd planned; like I'd hoped. As if my life could do this willy-nilly on its own, my fate predetermined so that I can relinquish all responsibility for what happens to me. Eventually you catch up with yourself.

In lieu of the many years I've procrastinated and haven't given myself the time of day, literally, I'm finally sitting myself down and writing up some goals. Oh, not just one list of goals. No. I don't do things lightly, I love to dive right in. So I'm starting off by making a daily list of goals and then I'll make it weekly, and on upwards. I can't say until it's completed because it never will be done. The joy will be found in the activities and energy I put into bringing these dreams into a reality by living in the now. The future will take care of itself when its present arrives. For now, I'm only to be focused on what I would do daily and see how the momentum picks up.

I'm going to share with you a list of daily goals I've already initiated so that it might inspire and encourage you to sit down and make your lists. Then to commit to it. Oh yes, there's that 'commit' word. I don't like it much either but I'm growing to like it because I now realize that it will bring me results. Yes, definitely. Also, I might add that this list of goals I'm presenting to you are related to my career goals. There are other lists that I'll be doing as well, to bring other dreams into my reality such as a goal weight loss. It's not enough to just allow the thoughts to roll around in your head, endlessly. You have to take part in the creation and not just wish it, leaving you wishing for a long time. And taking part in the creation begins with the ideas floating around inside of you, and doing what you need to do to get it out into your physical life.

So, let us begin with my daily goals geared towards the career I desire and how I need to go about attaining it. Some of these routines are already in place, but there's another element about these goals that I'd like to discuss as well. Time. Yes, you need to write out how much time you'll devote to each of your daily goals so that you're productive in every way conceivable. But it has to be fun too, not feel like it's work. Remember, the fun and joy is in living each day bringing your desires to fruition and the joy you feel as it nears you. There are always more goals to set and even changes made in the goals you thought you wanted.

So, begins the task.

Personal Daily Career Goals:

1. Law Of Attraction Blog - Search for new information on LOA to share ie. videos, links, books, ideas, blogs, etc.
Time: 1 Hour

2.Angel Guidance Blog - Check for new questions and offer angelic answers.

3. Meditate
Time: 15-20 minutes

4. Write articles. It's good for me and the people. Do it!
Time: 1 Hour

5. Daily Guidance at Facebook
Time: 15 minutes

6. Read part of a book or something online whereby I'm learning something new.
Time: 1 Hour

7. You want to have your own oracle cards - get to creating them - trust spirit.
Time: 1 Hour

8. You've felt a great urge for a few years now to write a book about imagination - Do it!
Time: 1 Hour

9. Send prayers to those on prayer list.
Time: 15 minutes

10. Grateful Journal - Write all that I'm thankful for each day.
Time: 1/2 Hour

11. BlogTalkRadio and Other Internet Radio websites for a radio show - See what's out there, what do you want to do and how to do it. Break it down. Ask for help if needed. Talk to Linda/tigerlily about brainstorming the show.
Time: 1 Hour

Well it looks like I've chalked up an 8 hour day geared towards my career goals. Some of the times on these goals may change as I do them, but for now this is the schedule and structure I'd like to stick to. Are you along for the ride? Do you want to bring your career goals into manifestation? If so, play along with me and let's watch that law of attraction pour all over us.

Be wonder-filled!

What do you want and why do you want it?

When using the Law Of Attraction to help you create what it is that you want in your life, there are some things you need to know before you begin.

First, I'll use something that I desire in order to show you. Let's say I want more money in our life. That's a good one because people often want more money in their lives.

You won't attract money to you if you're focused upon NOT HAVING more money as your truth now. You can't come from a lack of in any form when you're using the Law Of Attraction because if you do, that is what you'll bring into your experience, lack of money.

You also have to believe what you're trying to attract. And you can't let your mind go to HOW you're going to have more money in your life. Those are details left to the Universe. That's the Universe's part. YOUR PART is only to put your desire out there and have your complete focus upon gaining that which you want in your experience.

The best way to get your desires out there and to be focused upon the result you request is by practicing gratitude. There's a lot to be said for being thankful. Whenever you are feeling thankful, you can feel an expansion within you. You can feel how GREAT IT FEELS to stop and think about all that you have to be grateful for now.

Getting back to wanting more money in your life. The follow-up question you ask yourself, once you've gotten a handle on your desire, is Why do you want more money in your life? Now this is where it gets to be fun and you get to talk about all the reasons why money would be so good for you in your life.

You might say,
'I can buy new clothes now that I have all this money in my life.'
'Great, now I can look for the new home in the country that we've been dreaming of!'
'Oh, now I can plan that trip to Ireland!'
'That new queen sized bed I bought is so heavenly and I sleep like a baby now!'
'I've always wanted to take some holistic workshops and I'm so thankful I have all the funds necessary to take any of them now.'
'I am so grateful for ________(you fill in the name of someone) in my life and now that I have all this money I am buying her/him a beautiful gift.'
'It's so healthy and supportive to be able to buy all the organic foods I wish now. And also those special treats I can now afford.'

Begin now to see how it works. As you write your gratitude list you'll find it keeps growing and growing. Your using your imagination to think of all kinds of ways that money could make you happy. And like attracts like. As long as you're focused on grateful thoughts, more of them will pile in on top of the last one. There is no limit; only your imagination can limit it.

In the Abraham/Hicks teachings, those experts on the Law Of Attraction advise us to do this gratitude list before we go to bed and again when we arise. If writing it down feels like it'd be too much of a chore, just visualize it in your mind. It's whatever works best for you and your life. Writing it down seems to put a commitment to it, rather than just visualizing it and then allowing your mind to ramble on to places you didn't intend to go to in the beginning. But some people are pros at visualizing and that's fine too. It's just not the means for most people. I feel that writing it down and visualizing it as you write it would add more power to the desire. And the more power, the quicker the Universe will bring it to you! Besides, aren't your dreams worth the time and energy to write it down? Think of that if you find you're mind is trying to talk you out of writing it down.

Come on and give it a try. The next time we meet I'll give you a long list of reasons why I personally want more money in my life. Life is what you make it. So make it big, brave and beautiful! You deserve all that and more. Believe it. It's the truth if you own it. But you have to own it first to feel it. Now, what do you want and why do you want it? Feel free to share in the comments area!

It's A Beautiful Day To Be Alive!

Each day I begin with a hot shower. As the water cleanses my body I close my eyes and feel the light wash over my spirit and cleanse my chakras. It feels good to cleanse myself on the outside and the inside.

My mind momentarily wanders to the homeless people and about how challenging a life that would be. I think about how I wouldn't be able to enjoy the feeling of cleanliness, how I would be hungry, how I would be scared and live in fear as night falls.

An angel rushes into my thoughts because I ask them to always intervene whenever I'm creating negative thoughts, or allowing negative thoughts to overrule all else. Immediately I make a mental notation that I need to do more clearing with my root chakra. It is this chakra that guides us with our safety and security issues in this world. Obviously, mine was murky as I was allowing homeless thoughts to enter. Time to regroup my energy again.

Oh yes, of course. This is my present. I'm so thankful for the privilege of having a shower available to me anytime I wish to cleanse myself. I'm so thankful that I turn on the faucet and clean water bursts forth ever ready for my beckoning. I see the angels pour a shower of white light over me, and they relish in the delight it's bringing me. I think I hear giggles. I know I heard them.

For a brief few seconds the water gradually turns cold and I'm ever grateful that loved ones share this home with me. This immediately lets me know they are up and about and enjoying the day as well. I smile and await for the warmth of the water, which always returns. I feel at peace. I feel loved. I feel love and I am connected to Life. I feel the life run through my veins and liven me up! It's invigorating and it pours strength into my body. Can you feel the pulse? I do. I am whole. I am perfect.

Wholegrain Cheerios! They are so delicious and make for a healthy choice for breakfast. I've already done my chakra cleansing and meditated. I just finished my 5 minute energy wellness with Donna Eden, via You Tube. Ahhh, life is good! Thank you angels for helping me align with my Higher Self so that I may do all those things that my Soul wants for me in this lifetime. May my lessons be ever so gentle and may I always see from my higher perspective.

Speaking of gentle, I received some gentle guidance while I was meditating today. The angels have suggested that they have an option available to me for increasing my work load. For every paid service that I give someone, I do a service for free. This will keep me in line with my focus of work. If it's your joy, you'll feel it immediately because the free ones won't feel any different than the paid ones.

I trust what they offer and so it is. They tell me that as I stick to this new plan, not only will I have more clients, but I'll also be developing more services to offer and moving further into alignment with who I am becoming. This is exciting! And you're here to witness it all with me. Happy, Happy!

Do the angels have any messages for me right now? They suggest I pull a book and open it anywhere. Whatever my eyes feel drawn toward, that is my message. This is so much fun and if you do this too, you'll discover a new way to communicate with your angels. They love new ways to interact so that we never get bored with how we do things and we allow our creativity to open up and free us. Variety, ah! *~;)

I'm surrounded by hundreds of books but as I quickly scan over them, Divine Guidance by Doreen Virtue speaks to me. I open it up and here is my message:

'Whenever you ask a question, you receive an answer...True guidance will never lead you astray or cause pain to you or other people.'

Did you pull out a book and read a caption from it? Try it, you'll be amazed at how it applies to your life. The quote above is really a golden rule I live by. I've always asked questions within and have always gotten answers. And the second part of that message reminds me of the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.

Do you see how our thoughts move on to the next one, like the one that preceded it. As I read my message, the angels wanted to further instill the Golden Rule to me again. I needed reminders because I wasn't thinking of myself as I think of others. Allow your mind to travel freely when you read the caption. Don't censor it or judge what you're thinking. Just go with it. The message will come to you. Be patient and kind to yourself.

If that one doesn't make sense to you, keep pulling out books and finding messages until something seems to be reiterated over and over to you. That is your message from your angels. Believe it. Trust it, and own it. Then see where you need to go with that advice. For me, it's keeping the golden rule in mind in all my interactions today. With others, and with myself too. It keeps the balance I presently need.

And so it is. A beautiful day to be alive! May love fill your day, as it is doing in mine.

Create A New Life with Daily Rituals

I've been inspired (in-spirit) of late to do an abundantly present diary using the law of attraction. My inspiration tells me it would not only be helpful for me and the process of bringing all that I want into my present, but incredibly insight-full and inspirational to many others as well.

I copied that vision above to re-mind myself of my objective.

First, I am going to list some daily rituals to adhere to so that I do all I'm capable of to create the abundantly present life I desire to live. Actually, I am already living it. These exercises and this focus will expand upon all the wonderful blessings and benefits I'm already grateful for. And speaking of gratefulness, that is the first ritual.

1. Write about all the things, people, events, etc. that you are grateful for. Even those people and situations that bring you challenges. Discover the positive in those challenges so that you attract the positive attributes in your life.

2. Begin each day with energy wellness. This is an exercise you do that releases any toxins and negative energy and brings in balanced energy that revives and energizes you. I will use one of Donna Eden's exercises. She is the leading expert on energy wellness in this world today.

Donna Eden's 5-Minute Daily Video Routine

3. Meditate daily for at least 10 minutes. It will keep you in touch with your guidance and also will help keep your chakras balanced. I incorporate a chakra clearing before every meditation. Use whatever you're attracted to for your chakra clearing. I use a CD by Doreen Virtue that clears my chakras in the morning, and then another audio on the same CD clears you for sleep. It lasts approx. 30 mins. If I'm pressed for time because I've made other things/people a priority, then I do a quick clearing just by stating they are clear and visualizing any dark and murky spots cleansed. This takes me about 1-2 mins. and then I just allow myself time within, approx. 10-15 mins. of meditation.

4. Affirmations. They help you set the tone of your day. They are positive, clear, direct, in the present and filled with feeling. I already affirm a statement daily at Facebook and Twitter. Here's the link to my Facebook wall, if you'd like to receive it:

Facebook Link to Daily Affirmations

and here's the link to the Fan Page of Gifts Of Divinity for the same:

Become a Fan of Gifts Of Divinity at Facebook

You can optionally find me at twitter using this link:

Follow Daily Affirmation on Twitter

That's all for now!

Now here is my story, anew! It's filled with magic, charm and miracles. Won't you join me as I travel along this adventurous and loving new journey? I look forward to sharing with you, you and especially YOU! *~:)
